Hey friends! Well I suppose that you are as disappointed as I am due to cancellation of our favorite show Dirty Sexy Money. Even though there had been a little controversy of sorts before the cancellation of the show, I always felt that ultimately the show would not be axed. But it seems that I was really hoping against hope. What disheartened me most was the fact that Dirty Sexy Money was cancelled just when it was taking off. It was so sudden that the creators never got even a chance to end the show in a proper manner. I understand that the show was unable to garner the required rating, but then there were many reasons responsible for that. Given a chance, I am sure Dirty Sexy Money could have improved on its ratings. But then perhaps the people who make these decisions have something else in their minds. Well, whatever be the reason I just feel like I have been deliberately deprived of watching one of the most brilliant and engaging shows that was being aired.

I have watched Dirty Sexy Money since its first episode was aired in 2007. I have loved each and every character of the show , be it the idealistic lawyer Nick George played by Peter Krause, the incredibly influential Tripp Darling played by Donald Sutherland, the corrupt clergyman Brian played by Glenn Fitzgerald and even the licentious Karen played by Natalie Zea. They actors have all acted superbly well and been true to their characters. If somebody had tried honestly, Dirty Sexy Money could have been saved especially with there being plenty of potential to develop all the characters much further which if combined with a little more promotion or patience could help the show climb the ladder of success. The way the last season i.e. Season 2 of Dirty Sexy Money ended, has still left an open door that can be utilized to revive the series. I believe this was a great show that used wit and humor to explore the complicated family dynamics, particularly the child and controlling parent relationship. It is really shameful that the show ended the way it did!

Now we all know Nola Lyons of our very much favorite show Dirty Sexy Money. The way Lucy Liu has enacted this role, I feel no one could have done it better man.

Ok, so here is what I heard about how Lucy actually got this very much coveted role. Apparently, she has confirmed that once Steve McPherson had called her up, and while the discussion was on about Dirty Sexy Money, she informed him how much she loved the show. Now, Now don’t ask me who the hell is Steve McPherson. So for those who don’t know, Steve is the president in charge of entertainment at ABC. But then what happened after the call??? Well, Lucy was working on Cashmere Mafia, which was about to be wrapped up and Steve asked Greg Berlanti, the executive producer of Dirty Sexy Money, to create some new acting job for Lucy. Both men concluded that Lucy would be the perfect Nola Lyons, the tough lawyer of Dirty Sexy Money, who has a lot of attitude, dresses impeccably in her designer suits and handles the Darling family with a firm grip. She is the strong wind gushing in on the Darling family and they just don’t like it.

Lucy is just 40, and her height is just 160 centimeters. Still you see so many roles are on her plate, especially where she appears very sexy and handsome.

You know what I think of it????

I feel she has that aggressive feel they needed for Nola Lyons and hence they casted her.
