Dirty Sexy Money Season’s Summary

Dirty Sexy Money season 1 finale ‘The Nutcracker’ was aired on December 5, 2007 and not making its viewers to wait too much, series returned with second season on October 1, 2008. Second season opener was entitled ‘The Birthday Present’ in which we saw that Lisa and Nick decided to celebrate his birthday confidentially. On the other hand, Tripp and Letitia Darling had plans to throw a grand birthday bash for Nick on their yacht. Nick also tried to help Tripp and Patrick to reconcile. Brian reunited with his illegitimate son whereas Karen and Simon’s relationship went through some nice moments. Jeremy discussed his feelings towards Lisa with Nola. Some one died in the family and police arrested one person whose identity was not disclosed in that episode. Second episode of season was entitled ‘The Family lawyer’ in which we were shown some more details about Nola Jones. We came to know that Ellen had died and Letitia was in police custody. Tripp and Nick decided who’d be appointed co-chair to Darling Enterprises. Next episode in row was entitled ‘The Star Witness’ in which Nick George was completely stunned by the witness testifying against Letitia. On the other hand, Patrick participated in a senatorial debate being monitored by Dan Rather. Next episode of season was entitled ‘The Silence’ in which we saw that it’s Patrick’s election party and Letitia Darling could not attend the party as she’s under house arrest. Karen-Simon relationship had rough times whereas Patrick and Carmelita reconciled happily. Ellen’s brother appeared and started questioning his sister’s death. Next episode in row was entitled ‘The Verdict’ in which, during Ellen’s murder trial, Nick came to know a dirty secret about Nola.

Following it was the episode entitled ‘Te Injured Party’ in which Letitia hit a young bicyclist with her car. In order to sort out the matter without creating any disturbance, Tripp invited the injured woman at the Darling mansion to recuperate. She got some sympathy and also criticism by several family members. Lisa and Nick had a war of words over some issue. Nola Lyons, the new Chief of Staff at Darling Enterprises managed to impress Patrick with her aggressive behavior whereas others were not happy with her. It was very shocking for Brian to learn that Andrea had refused to fight her cancer through a medical treatment. In ‘The Facts’, we saw all Darling family members celebrating Thanksgiving. Then we saw the episode entitled ‘The Summer House’ in which we met a very happy Karen. She’s glad for her fifth marriage to Simon Elder. Tripp and Nick were not ready to allow her to do so; ultimately they made a plan to stop the wedding. Next to it was the episode ‘The Plan’ in which Senator Patrick invited Carmelita to his inauguration, even not caring about the warnings of Tripp and Nick. On the other hand, Karen faced an armed prowler. The last episode of season was aired on December 17, 2008 and it was entitled ‘The Organ Donor’ in which the Darlings were seen dealing with the aftermath of Chase’s shooting spree at inauguration.
