Brian loses the custody of his son Nick Jr. and is arrested for bribing the arbitrator. Jeremy continues his romance with Sofia without telling her about his being a Darling. Patrick wakes up in the hospital and is told by Ellen that she has changed her mind about the current set up between her, Patrick and Carmelita.
Tripp, Letitia, and Nick discuss about the future of Brian. The truth of the relationship between Letitia, Nick’s father and later between Nick and his father is reveled through flashbacks. In the present, a displeased an ungrateful, Brian is accompanied out of the prison by Nick
Later Nick confronts Letitia, about how Brian was released and she then tells him that Brian is his brother. Lisa warns Nick against Darlings. Jeremy continues to lie to Sofia about his real identity. Carmelita visits Patrick in the hospital and tells him to stay with Ellen. Karen feels attracted towards Simon. Also Brian learns about his true identity from Letitia.
Later Brian and Nick meet in a church and assure each other that the new revelation will not change anything. The episode ends as Brian bids farewell to his son, who leaves for Brazil with Andrea.
