Karen starts to have second thoughts about her fourth marriage to Freddy when she feels that her love for Freddy is not as deep as it should be. When she talks to her mother about the same she asks Nick to talk to Karen, who seemingly helps calm down her nerves.
Brian gets an unexpected visitor in the form of Andrea, who wants her son, Brian Jr., back. However, Brian is not ready to part with his son and the two have a fight which ends up in their having sex. Nick prepares for Karen’s wedding and while Karen asks for $2,000,000 Nick can only give her $300,000.
Ellen learns that her husband, Patrick is having an affair while Jeremy suspects Natalie’s intentions when she tries to make up with Juliet. Karen marries Freddy and regrets it only minutes later. Nick is prompted to laugh when Karen tells him that she wants to divorce Freddy.
Nick is able to push through the divorce of Karen on the wedding night itself. As Freddy walks away with the settlement amount of $3,000,000, Karen starts crying. Nick and a slightly drunk Tripp try to console a distraught Karen on her yet another failed marriage.
