Nick meets with Simon, who agrees to help him find his father’s killer on the condition that Tripp places on bet a specific piece of land during the giant poker game being organized by Simon. Although he is confused about the intentions of Simon, Nick manages to convince Tripp to bet the land in the poker game that pits Simon against Tripp and which Simon wins.
Karen drives to her ex-husband’s home to complete her divorce proceedings, so that she can go ahead with her fourth marriage. But there she ends up having sex with her ex-husband and finds herself more confused about her love life. Patrick is blackmailed again and he seeks Nick’s help. Nick learns that Tripp is behind the clicking of photos, which then results in a confrontation between Patrick and Tripp.
Jeremy starts working as a parking attendant for his father. Towards the end of the episode, it is revealed through a flashback that Nick and Tripp were together in the plan to give Simon the property that he wanted. It also revealed that Nick told Tripp the truth about Simon and that he had agreed to help Nick, despite his wife being against the idea.
