No More Dirty Sexy Money for Us………….!!!
Posted by: adminHey friends! Well I suppose that you are as disappointed as I am due to cancellation of our favorite show Dirty Sexy Money. Even though there had been a little controversy of sorts before the cancellation of the show, I always felt that ultimately the show would not be axed. But it seems that I was really hoping against hope. What disheartened me most was the fact that Dirty Sexy Money was cancelled just when it was taking off. It was so sudden that the creators never got even a chance to end the show in a proper manner. I understand that the show was unable to garner the required rating, but then there were many reasons responsible for that. Given a chance, I am sure Dirty Sexy Money could have improved on its ratings. But then perhaps the people who make these decisions have something else in their minds. Well, whatever be the reason I just feel like I have been deliberately deprived of watching one of the most brilliant and engaging shows that was being aired.
I have watched Dirty Sexy Money since its first episode was aired in 2007. I have loved each and every character of the show , be it the idealistic lawyer Nick George played by Peter Krause, the incredibly influential Tripp Darling played by Donald Sutherland, the corrupt clergyman Brian played by Glenn Fitzgerald and even the licentious Karen played by Natalie Zea. They actors have all acted superbly well and been true to their characters. If somebody had tried honestly, Dirty Sexy Money could have been saved especially with there being plenty of potential to develop all the characters much further which if combined with a little more promotion or patience could help the show climb the ladder of success. The way the last season i.e. Season 2 of Dirty Sexy Money ended, has still left an open door that can be utilized to revive the series. I believe this was a great show that used wit and humor to explore the complicated family dynamics, particularly the child and controlling parent relationship. It is really shameful that the show ended the way it did!
